2010 A brand new year with a brand new look (City College) ♥ 2:01 AM
As we can see, the theme of the shoot was white. Sometimes, pure clean white can pose as a big challenge for a shoot, especially for the photographer. But, the turnout was better than expected. As for me, my job was to make them look clean with prominent features and not to overdo the girls' makeup nor make them look washed out. With the limited time on my hands, I managed to do up about 15 ladies in this 2days shoot. Phew!

I especially like this shoot as CHEC has given me a lot of freedom to how each individual would be made up. My only enermy is TIME!
I feel truely accomplished when each one just love their makeover and showed confidence in posing in front of the camera.

THE wedding! Outdoor shoot in BALI! ♥ 1:36 AM
Oh my gosh, my FIRST overseas trip as a MUA! All thanks to my generous friend cum bride who so kindly sponsored me.
The challenging part to overseas shoot is the location! Thank God Esther hired a great photographer (Mr Jim Orca) who knows Bali at the back of his hand. We went to at least 4-5 different locations, capturing the most beautiful sight of Bali. Overall, we enjoyed the trip, the couple included. Though it might be a little tiring and occasionally, we got charred by the sun, its really worth it to bring home such once-in-a-lifetime memory :)

THE wedding! Indoor shoot ♥ 1:24 AM
Being a makeup artist for your friend can sometimes be rather stressful. Its not JUST another wedding, but one you are responsible for (the turnout of the photos). Thus the trial makeup is an absolute necessity.
This is to not only "try out" your makeup artist, but also a time to communicate with the bride vs just a one-sided opinion from your MUA. The actual shoot turned out really well... thank God. Esther looked stunning in both her gowns. I especially like the flowers she chose which she wanted to use to match with her white gown.

LFI Beauty Paegent ♥ 12:55 AM
Besides the many beautiful ladies running about, this beauty show is about patience as well. Firstly, to wait for the candidates to put on their costume and have their hair done. Finally, I managed to grap 1 candidate to do her casual makeup for the segment to showcase their hobbies. She had her cheer leader outfit on and I must say, she really look the part.
Manager looked on as time is running out for the candidates to appear on stage. *stress*
Though my candidate didn't managed to get to the top 3, I'm sure she brought home some precious memories and experience.

I had to do an orange base makeup for this model for the Tony & Guy runway show. Everyone else's model have to have the same makeup to show unison for the particular hair dresser.

Smitten Magazine Shoot #2 ♥ 12:42 AM
This was the second shoot for hair makeover. There are altogether 3 candidates from different walks of life. One had her long hair snipped off and the other, new doll-like curls. their makeup were to be natural and simple to not draw attention away from their new hair styles...
