Corporate Shoot for A local Insurance Company ♥ 5:32 AM
8th March 2010
Was asked to do make up for a corporate shoot in Toa Payoh area. The shoot lasted for 1/2 a day for me, but another makeup artist stayed there the whole day(poor thing :( ). I did makeup for mostly guys this time round (including hair styling), maybe its the timing that I was there. The look for the guys this round was "funky-yet-rich-look". Oh well, basically no spikey or "ah-pek" hair, just simply a younger yet formal feel. Makeup for guys is just covering up whatever blemishes and then a thin layer of powder. The KEY is not to apply too pale a colour, if not, they can end up looking less of a man :( Another TIP to not having white remnants left on your hair is to spread wax or gel on your hands first (till it kind of disappear on the hand). After which, brush your hands over the top of the hair first before starting to work on the style. This will ensure that your hair will stay 'clean' throughout the day.
The girls were given a more sophisticated look with more earth colour (important step is to line the eyes after eyeshadow is applied).
Basically a more relaxed job this time round (maybe because I have other makeup artists to talk too... hahaha It can get quite boring to stare at the photoshoot session while waiting for others to come and have their makeup done).
WAHLAAAA.... the results and some pictures taken during the photoshoot.
Classic.♥
